Dinting Autumn Brunch
As another growing season draws to a close and following on from the very successful Summer Social, all Dinting plotholders and plotsharers are cordially invited to an Autumnal brunch.
Sunday 3rd November, Community Plot, 11.30am – 2.30pm.
Homemade soup will be available (please bring your own mug and spoon) along with other Autumnal delights. We will be toasting marshmallows over the brazier and serving up hot chocolate and mulled wine.
The Community Plot will also be offering jacket potatoes and fillings in return for a small donation.
Dinting Plotholders and plotsharers are also encouraged to bring along their own homemade Autumnal treats.
Derbyshire County Council
GAFA have secured an Action Grant of £6250 from Derbyshire County Council. The funding was awarded to implement the GAFA Development Plan which sets out a range of planned improvements to the three GAFA managed allotment sites. The full Development Plan is available to all GAFA members in the Document section of this website.
Summer Social
A huge thank you to everyone that was able to attend the Dinting inaugural Summer Social at the weekend.
Around 50 people of all ages came along and were able to enjoy Dave’s BBQ, drinks and a variety of sweet and savoury homemade dishes. A big thanks to everyone who brought along dishes and helped to organise the event.
Its also hoped that we are all more educated now about carnivorous plants, thanks to Fiona’s excellent display.
To top it all, the weather finally turned out great too!
Such was the success of the Summer Social that an Autumn gathering is being planned as we speak. Details to follow soon!
thanks again for your support
